Designing a Handmade Brand for a Homegrown Food Business
Shirlybeth’s Specials is more than just food it’s a taste of home, culture, and connection. Rooted in tradition and storytelling, the brand brings warm, home-cooked comfort with a modern touch, offering flavors that spark nostalgia and create new memories.
Shirlybeth’s Specials needed a cohesive brand identity that blended heritage and homemade authenticity while maintaining a modern and inviting appeal. The challenge was to create functional yet visually appealing packaging, ensuring easy recognition and brand recall while effectively communicating trust, warmth, and tradition.
By designing a versatile logo, intricate brand patterns, and engaging illustrations, we crafted a visually rich identity that reflects cultural heritage and homemade quality. The packaging—ranging from tupperware and snack jars to chili sauce bottles and eco-friendly bags—was developed to enhance functionality and brand visibility, while social media designs helped establish an engaging digital presence.
The rebrand resulted in a strong, recognizable identity that highlights heritage, warmth, and authenticity. The functional and aesthetically appealing packaging improved customer experience and shelf appeal, while the digital presence strengthened engagement, attracting food lovers and tradition-seekers alike.
