Refreshing a Skincare Brand with Bold, Retro Packaging
RDL is a well-known skincare brand, but its existing packaging leans towards a clinical and traditional look. This personal project reimagines RDL with a bold, colorful, and retro 70s aesthetic, giving it a fresh and eye-catching personality while retaining its trusted appeal.
The goal was to break away from the conventional and experiment with a playful, nostalgic design that would stand out on shelves. The challenge was to ensure the new aesthetic felt vibrant and energetic without losing the brand’s credibility in skincare.
Inspired by 70s pop culture, bold typography, and vibrant color palettes, this rebrand introduces dynamic packaging that feels fun, youthful, and strikingly different from RDL’s existing identity.
